When will iOS 18 be released?

The official release date of iOS 18 has not been announced yet by Apple. But if the leaks and reports are to be believed, the company can present iOS 18 on the WWDC Event Platform. This event can be organized in June 2024, which will take place in America.

iOS 18 Expected New Features 

● There is talk that with iOS 18, Apple can also update its voice assistant, Siri, and connect it with generative AI capabilities like ChatGPT. Apple may introduce its own generative AI model with the new OS.

● Along with Siri, generative AI features can also be added to the Notes app and Music app; apart from this, some features for AI-generated photo and video editing are also reported to be added.

● App sideloading can be made available globally in Apple iOS 18. After the arrival of this feature, third-party apps can also be downloaded and installed on the iPhone.

● RCS protocol support can now also be found on iOS 18. Its biggest advantage will be that it will provide an easy sharing experience between Android and iOS devices.

● A third-party payment gateway facility may also be available for app subscriptions in iOS 18. This will reduce in-app shopping and subscription charges by 30 percent.
