The rate of these two is Rs 11,999 and Rs 13,499 respectively.  Similarly, the largest Redmi 12 5G variant with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage has been launched for Rs 15,499.

Redmi 12 5G has a 6.79-inch FullHD + punch-hole display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution.  This screen is made on IPS LCD which gets a 90Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. This phone display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with which 550nits brightness is also available.

The Redmi Note 12 5G phone supports a 6.67-inch FullHD+ punch-hole display with 2400 x 1080 pixel resolution. This screen is built on a Samsung AMOLED panel which works at 120Hz refresh rate and 240Hz touch sampling rate. Features like 1200nits pick brightness, 4096level dimming, and 4500000:1 contrast ratio have been given in this phone screen.

Redmi Note 12 5G has been launched on Android 12-based MIUI 13. This mobile phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 built on 6nm architecture, which runs on an octa-core processor with 2.0GHz clock speed. Adreno 619 GPU is present for graphics. Redmi Note 12 5G works on LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage technology. This phone supports 5 GB virtual RAM.

For processing, the next version of the chipset present in the Redmi Note 12 5G, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, has been given in this phone, which is made on 4 nnm fabrications. Redmi 12 5G phone has also been launched with 5,000 mAh battery. Regarding this, the company has been claiming that the mobile battery can provide 28 days of standby time for a single full charge or 30 hours of video playback can be found on it. Talking about fast charging technology, it has 18W charging support.
